Accelerated was recently engaged by Delta Group to complete Wall/Track sawing and Wire sawing works on the Festival Hall project in Adelaide CBD.
The job included large amounts of stitch coring and wall sawing to remove sections of slabs through a 5 story underground car park to make way for new Columns that would eventually support the new tower above the car park.
The concrete slabs varied in thickness from 500mm to 200mm with man sections also requiring a 300mm thick wall to be removed. Slabs were back propped and rigged by Delta with our operators enabling these works with additional core holes for fixings and through bolts.
Our operators were on site for around 6 weeks in Adelaide removing over 15 stories of slabs for the new columns
